Record Emirates deals to dominate airshow

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will open the 10th Dubai Airshow on Sunday.
The five-day show at the Airport Expo Dubai is open to industry professionals only. A host of VIPS and local, regional and international dignitaries will attend the opening ceremony.
Up to 40,000 visitors are expected as more than 850 exhibitors from 50 countries showcase their products and services for commercial, private and military aviation. Shaikh Mohammad will tour the show after the inauguration.
The extravaganza begins at 10am on the first day and at 9am each of the following days. There are more than 140 aircraft on display, and demonstrations of commercial and military aircraft have been scheduled every day.
