Low cost carriers welcome decision to launch new airline in Dubai
The Middle East's larget budget airline has welcomed the move to create another low cost carrier.
Sharjah: The Middle East's larget budget airline has welcomed the move to create another low cost carrier.
Air Arabia Chief Executive Adel Ali said the new budget airline, announced by Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, would compliment the current market.
He added: "I am pleased such an airline has seen our business model as a success and decided to do the same.
"The market is sufficiently big for all of us and it will complement us."
The new airline will be the fifth carrier operating from the UAE.
