Hamdan: Air show an opportunity
Shaikh Hamdan said the UAE had succeeded in nurturing highly qualified national human resources and was capable of organising such world-class events.
Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has reiterated the importance of the Dubai Air Show in reflecting the progress attained by the UAE in all domains under the wise leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In a statement to the Nation Shield journal to mark the opening of the Dubai Air Show 2009, Shaikh Hamdan said the UAE had succeeded in nurturing highly qualified national human resources and was capable of organising such world-class events.
"The UAE serves as a strategic meeting point between Asia and Africa, East and West — a home for peace, diversity and creation and with an excellent record in science and technology, investment and administration," Shaikh Hamdan said.
"A glaring example is set by the Dubai International Air Show. The ever-increasing number of exhibitors interested in participating in this economic, commercial and cultural event reflects the diversity of exhibitors and rising interest."
