Dubai: Etihad Regional is leasing four ATR 72-500 aircraft, the carrier operated by Darwin Airline, announced on Thursday.
The airline will now operate a mixed fleet, which includes a fleet of 50-seat Saab 2000 turboprop aircraft. The lease of the aircraft was arranged by Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC), the turboprop leasing company headquartered in Denmark.
The aircraft will be configured with 68 seats and all four aircraft are scheduled for delivery between April and June 2014.
Etihad Airways hold a minority stake in the airline.
