Austrian Airlines introduces new premium service

Austrian Airlines has introduced a premium service along with an addition of the Airbus A320 aircrafts to its existing fleet.

Dubai: Austrian Airlines has introduced a premium service along with an addition of the Airbus A320 aircrafts to its existing fleet.

The Business Class zones of these aircrafts will be equipped with 24 exclusive Business Sleeper Seats made by Recaro. Ensuring the utmost in comfort the seats will also boast state-of-the-art features including 116 cm of legroom, a backrest set with a tilt, electronically adjustable backrest and footrest and integrated massage function.

Each seat will come equipped with an integrated PC socket, individual reading light and personal screen complete the features offered by the seat.

Every passenger receives a personal and individually operable DVD player for the flight.

The airline also provides a wide-range of assorted newspapers and magazines with an exclusive fly & buy inflight magazine.

The upgraded aircrafts will be deployed exclusively on existing routes into the Middle East (Damascus, Cairo, Tehran and Dubai), and to Astana in Central Asia, from September 2008 onwards.

A complimentary Chaffeur service to and from Dubai International Airport will be introduced on March 1 for Business Class passengers with ticket purchasers in the UAE.
