Amiri Flight and Lufthansa sign accord

A memorandum of understanding was signed to maintain and support executive jet aircraft in the Mideast by Shaikh Tahnoon bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Amiri Flight Abu Dhabi and August Henningsen, Chairman of Lufthansa Technik.

They are planning to set up one-stop entity capable of fuelling, ground handling, line maintenance and interior refurbishment.

"We feel confident about being able to put a strong product offer in the regional market for our Middle East customers," said Henningsen. "On-site support, the continuous maintenance of both aircraft and cabin during normal operations plus a dedicated VIP operation in combination with fast turnarounds and excellent regional links will constitute an attractive offer."
