Air Serbia, the European carrier managed by Etihad Airways under contract, reported a 47 per cent jump in revenue in the first quarter compared to the same 2013 period.

The airlines chief executive, Dane Kondic, a former Etihad employee, said the airline is on track to break-even this year.

Total passenger numbers jumped 66 per cent to 364,924 while the airline expanded with two new destinations.

The airline did not release its profit/loss margin or any of its financials.
