Calling all MMA (Mixed Marital Arts) enthusiasts. Super Fight League, founded by Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra and Sanjay Dutt, will put together an India Vs Pakistan match at The Dome, in Dubai Sports City, on February 27.
While Shetty and Kundra will cheer from the sidelines for the SFL 38 Dubai match, actors including horror-film actress Bipasha Basu, Harman Baweja — who was last seen in Shetty’s production Dishkiyaaoon — and actor Arshad Warsi of the Munnabhai series fame are expected to join them on the stands.
“India Vs Pakistan has always been an exciting match up of countries regardless of the sport. Now to have these two countries compete in a mixed martial arts competition in a neutral territory is going to be explosive. With a fight card featuring national level wrestlers, SFL champions and Asian games veterans, this show has fireworks written all over it,” said Kundra in a statement.
SFL 38 Dubai will be telecast live on Ten Sports at 7pm in the UAE.
