Abu Dhabi: The Barakah One Company, a subsidiary of the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and the Korea Electric Power Corporation announced the members of its Board of Directors during its first General Assembly on Wednesday.
Khaled Abdullah Al Qubaisi has been appointed as Chairman of the Board and Mohammad Al Hammadi as Vice-Chairman. Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Mohammad Sahoo Al Suwaidi and Park Jong Hyuck are its members.
The mandate of The Barakah One is to manage the commercial interests of the Barakah nuclear project, secure project finance from institutional and commercial lenders and receive funds for the electricity generated from Units 1 to 4 in Barakah.
