Westlife: Where Are We?
Fans will get their money's worth as the latest offering has all the usual squeaky-clean formula thrown in

Where Are We? To be honest, not an awful lot further from where they've always been. Singing ballads you definitely shouldn't listen to if you're going through a break-up with the anticipated modulation about three quarters of the way through preparing for the big finish.
The first sniff of new material since 2007, Westlife fans will get their money's worth as the latest offering has all the usual squeaky-clean formula thrown in.
But when you consider the album has already enjoyed its debut in the top 10 of album charts, only a fool would bet against single I'll See You Again being their 15th No 1 hit.
Those eagerly waiting to find out whether the boys from Dublin have dumped their trademark mush for hardcore rap are waiting for the unthinkable (a word which could potentially be the title of their next hit song).
Where We Are is the Christmas album the boys release just in time for people to rush out and pick up a copy for you mum, aunty or grandma. The slushy pledges of devotion haven't changed since the last album, and something tells me they may never.
The boys have done what they do best once again, with the added emotional tug — this one is a tribute to both Kian and Nicky's fathers, who both passed this year. A word of advice — keep the tissues by the stereo.
