Legendary Welsh singer Sir Tom Jones will perform in Abu Dhabi next month.
Performing for the first time in the UAE, Jones, most famous for his hit song It’s Not Unusual, will take to the stage at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on April 16.
The concert will mark the first indoor event stage by Abu Dhabi-based events company Flash and tickets, priced from Dh 365, will go on sale from Monday, March 22 across the UAE.
Following a successful UK tour last year, Sir Tom Jones will sing his most popular and loved songs including Delilah, She’s a Lady and It’s Not Unusual as well as his many other chart-topping hits.
Born and bred in South Wales, UK, and with a career spanning more than four decades, Jones is one of the world’s most critically acclaimed artists having successfully collaborated with artists including Tina Turner, The Stereophonics and Luciano Pavarotti.
Jones is widely recognised as a musical legend and has reportedly influenced many modern artists including Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson and Duffy to name a few.
Organisers are urging fans to get tickets quick as the concert is expected to sell out.
Tom Jones Live in Abu Dhabi is an all-seated concert.
Tickets, priced Dh 365 for balcony, Dh 395 for grandstand, Dh 695 for pearl and Dh 895 for diamond, are available from www.boxofficeme.com, www.ticketingboxoffice.com and Virgin Megastore outlets across the UAE.
