Dubai: Rock fans may want to get their headbanging hair on: Linkin Park are the latest band set to perform at the concert series taking place around this year’s Abu Dhabi Formula 1.
twitter fans were abuzz with the news on Tuesday afternoon after Swiss newspaper 20 Minuten began running a competition to win tickets to meet the American rap-rock band and watch them in concert on November 14 in Abu Dhabi.
Thierry Kuhn, cross-media producer at the Swiss online newspaper confirmed the date to Gulf News. “We were approached by their label Warner Music about doing a promotion. It’s exclusive to us and I can confirm the date is correct.”
Formula One concert organisers Flash have not yet responded to a request for comment.
tabloid! exclusively broke the news that American R’n’B star Kelis would be part of the line up at the sport event’s concert series.
