Welcome to Bollywood's blog war, where Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are the main antagonists.
The hot-cold rivalry between Indian showbiz's biggest players Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan — has lasted more than a decade. If reports are to be believed, the relationship turned sour in 2004 when Bachchan was relegated to a seat in the 14th row at a prominent awards ceremony.
Rumour had it that SRK's cronies engineered the seating arrangements. The next few years saw the fissures deepen with SRK taking the reins over from Bachchan as a game show host of Kaun Banega Crorepati, the Indian-version of Who Wants to Be A Millionaire?

Big B Vs Shobhaa De
Face off: Round 1
Shobhaa De (in her column):"The whole idea of personal blogging is to let it all hang out, sans inhibitions and the standard constraints. I hope Amitabh sticks to being candid, and stays miles away from political correctness. One day he takes on SRK, and the next day he apologises? … What's the point in diluting the content, apologising after the deed and getting defensive?"
Big B's response
(on his blog):"Your advice of not to apologise I shall not accede to, simply because if I have felt strongly that there has been an error on my part, I will submit regret. Some characteristics I shall not be able to change, otherwise what would be the difference between Shobhaa De and Amitabh Bachchan!"
Round 2
Shobhaa De:"How on earth does Aishwarya manage to do it year after year on the red carpet at Cannes? The black gown was passable this time, but Ash obviously forgot to get it pressed before hand. Oh dear … unsightly creases at the world's most glam photo op?"
Big B's response:"I am disappointed that your customary wit failed to notice the creases that needed repair on the faces of many other celebrated stars from Hollywood. Whither patriotism?"

The bone of contention was a derogatory remark about SRK's hosting prowess and the dwindling popularity of his latest game show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hai, a rip-off on Are You Smarter Than A Fifth grader?
Though Big B launched the tirade on his blog with a bang, the spat ended on a whimperish note with Big B posting a public apology to SRK for his remarks and blaming the media for misconstruing his blog entry.
Truce
Though the world expected the mother of all battles to erupt, the crisis was averted largely due to the magnanimous blog entry made by Aamir Khan.
Khan's response:
“I have the highest regard for Mr Bachchan and I am [a] very big fan of his work. Probably one of the biggest …He is also in my opinion THE biggest star that Indian cinema has ever seen."
Aamir khan vs Shah rukh khan
The Khans love to play the numbers game. If Shah Rukh is known as King Khan then Aamir wishes to be called No 1 in Bollywood.
Face off
Aamir Khan (in his blog):"Shahrukh is licking my feet and I am feeding him biscuits every now and then. What more could I ask for? Now, before you jump to any conclusions let me add that Shahrukh is the name of our dog. And before you jump to any further conclusions let me add that I had nothing to do with naming him."
Truce
Surprisingly, SRK did not bite at Aamir's taunt, he let this one pass in a sporting manner. But, SRK's fans were hardly amused as they hurled abuse at Aamir for his impudence. Incidentally, this particular entry attracted up 9,730 comments from blogger fans.
Salman khan Vs Shah rukh khan
It's common knowledge that a few months ago, the Khans united to face their alleged common foe the Bachchans. But, a surprise birthday bash thrown by Salman Khan for his girlfriend Katrina Kaif derailed the peace process. The Rumour mill has it that the two friends had a fall-out after Salman said that his TV game show (Dus Ka Dum) was more popular than SRK's Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hai?
Face off
A frustrated Salman Khan has now resorted to using his blog, which was initially set up to promote his game show Dus Ka Dum, to settle scores with SRK.
Salman Khan (in his blog):"For the next few days, you will hear and read a lot of s**t about me. A lot of it …Keep reading it, but don't react to it … I don't react to it. Besides, I don't understand the language of dogs, except for my two – Myson and Myjaan."
Status: When tabloid! went to print, SRK was yet to brandish his next move.
