Salman's Dabangg leads Zee Cine Awards nominations
It's going to be a star-packed Zee Cine Awards this weekend in Singapore where Salman Khan starrer Dabangg leads the nominations. tabloid! takes you there

- Dabangg is nominated in five categories, including best film and best actor.
Record-breaking action film and India's biggest box-office earner in 2010, Dabangg is leading the nominations for the main categories of the Zee Cine Awards, the winners of which will be announced on Friday in Singapore.
The Salman Khan starrer has been nominated for best film, best actor for khan, best director for debutant avinash kashyap, song of the year for Munni Badnaam Hui and International female icon of the year for debutante actress Sonakshi Sinha.
Winners in more than 38 categories will be honoured during the star-studded event, to be held at the newly-opened Marina Bay Sands Resort, expected to be attended by some of the biggest names in the Indian film fraternity. Megastar and best actor nominee Shah Rukh Khan is scheduled to perform along with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra (best actress nominee), Deepika Padukone (best actress nominee) and Arjun Rampal. Actors Akshay Kumar (nominated for best actor for Housefull) and Sajid Khan will play MC, said organiser and broadcaster Zee Network.
An annual event, the Zee Cine Awards honour the best of the year in Bollywood, with winners in the main categories selected via public votes. Bollywood fans from more than 120 countries have already cast their votes, said organisers.
Dabangg, an action-comedy about a dishonest cop, was declared a blockbuster in just its second week of release and is currently the second highest grossing Bollywood film of all time after the Aamir Khan film 3 Idiots.
Dubai-based jeweller Damas has been tasked with creating all the trophies this year. The travelling awards show has in the past been held in a number of cities around the world including London, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai and Dubai in 2004.
