Raj Kapoor magic in Oman
The Indian Social Club, Indian Embassy and Oman Arab Cinema will jointly hold a festival of Kapoor's films from tonight until June 10, at the Al Nasr Cinema.

- The films, ranging from the 1940s down to the '70s, will be a tribute to the man who lives in the hearts of audiences even today.
The Indian Social Club, Indian Embassy and Oman Arab Cinema will jointly hold a festival of Kapoor's films from tonight until June 10, at the Al Nasr Cinema.
"It will be a retrospective of films by Indian cinema's ultimate showman," Dr Sathish Nambiar, Honorary Chairman of the ISC, said at a press conference.
The films, ranging from the 1940s down to the '70s, will be a tribute to the man whose movies continue to create magic in the hearts of audiences even today.
The festival will be formally inaugurated by Anil Wadhwa, Indian ambassador to the Sultanate, tonight. Entry is by invitation only.
The films, selected on the basis of availability in the archives, will start at 7pm and will be screened without a break.
With the exception of Sangam, all movies will begin at 7pm. Sangam, on account of its length, will begin at 6.30pm.
