Our movie

Every day, we ask film buffs what they hope to watch at DIFF:

The film I really want to watch is called Mongoul and is in the Asia film category. I like movies based on wars and think we can learn a lot about people and the world from the big screen. I would also like to see Night Shadows.''
Anshul Shah, 24, Dubai

My husband and I are off to see the Battle For Haditha because it's very topical at the moment as it's about the Iraq war. We also plan to see two other films called, Ezra and Control. We like to watch the foreign films when we have the opportunity.''
Kym McGlone, 39, Dubai

I'd like to see a film by an Egyptian director and it is good to watch the movies which are made by people from the same country as you — to offer support. My friend has recommended we watch the film because he said the trailer was very good. I hope it's worth all this trouble!''
Ahmad Abdullah, 31, Dubai
