It's all play

Cinema and cricket will come together this weekend as Sunil Shetty's Mumbai Heroes take on Telugu Warriors and Chennai Rhinos at the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) in Sharjah. To be held at the Sharjah Cricket stadium, the star-packed event spread over Friday and Saturday is tipped to attract biggies, including Salman Khan. Sonakshi Sinha and Kangna Ranaut will double up as cheerleaders as they root for their favourite teams from the sidelines.

Pop icons Atif Aslam and singer Devi Sri Prasad — the composer behind the chart-topper Dhinka Chika from Ready — will throw open the innings with a one-off show.

If you can't make it to Sharjah, you can still catch some of the stars hitting the decks at Chi Garden @ The Lodge in Dubai on Saturday. Khan, his brother Sohail, Shetty, Ranaut, Bobby Deol, Sameera Reddy, Mohanlal, Genelia D'Souza and a host of other stars are scheduled to attend.
