The all-India distribution rights of Balaji’s Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum has been sold for Rs216 million (Dh14 million) to a Nagpur-based distributor. Tusshar Kapoor says the spoof inspired by John Abraham’s dare-bare act in Dostana has helped the film fetch this price.

“The all-India rights have been bought by Heera Laxmi,” Tusshar said.
“The cheeky shot created a huge buzz and fetched the film a great price. The sequence is a hilarious spoof on Dostana. But only we could not get hold of yellow briefs such as John Abraham’s. So we had to make do with blue ones,” he added.
Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum, a sequel to Kya Kool Hain Hum, features Riteish Deshmukh, Neha Sharma and Sarah Jane Dias, apart from Tusshar.
Its story revolves around the friendship between the male leads and how circumstances lead them to venture on an adventurous road trip to Goa in search of love.
Directed by Sachin Yardi, the film will be release on July 27.
