Comedy is the flavour of the season. The latest laugh-out-loud flick set to hit theatres is C Kkompany.
Cashing on the trend of comic flicks cracking the box office, Ekta Kapoor comes up with her latest flick, C Kkompany, starring Tusshar Kapoor, Raima Sen, Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher and Rajpal Yadav.
Earlier this year, Tusshar's One Two Three was a moderate success. "I realised that I am most comfortable in comic roles and enjoy doing comedies. I am happy with the way C Kkompany has shaped up and the audience should enjoy the film," says Kapoor.
With a title like C Kkompany, is the film a spoof on Ram Gopal Varma's underworld hit, Company? Tusshar instantly responds, "Not at all, the film is about me, Anupam Kher and Rajpal Yadav who are losers and therefore they form their own 'C' company to make money by pretending to be gangsters".
Playing Tushar's love interest is Sen, who will be seen in a glamorous avatar for the first time in a Bollywood flick. She shakes her booty in a hot item number along with Tusshar.
"I thoroughly enjoyed doing this film. It is a refreshing change from my serious films," says Sen. And if she is not hot enough to pull in the crowds, sex-symbol Celina Jaitley will be doing an item number with Tusshar. And if that's still not enough, Sanjay Dutt will also be doing an item number to boost the film's marketability.
He shares a close rapport with Ekta and willingly obliged to be part of this film. Besides these starry item numbers, the film will rely on Indian National Award-winning actors Chakraborty and Kher to impress audiences. They will be ably supported by Yadav, who is comedy dynamite.
