Southern Spice: Kashyap endorses ‘Paradesi’

Anurag has plans for Bala’s film

Impressed by Tamil director Bala’s upcoming film, ‘Paradesi,’ Bollywood film maker Anurag Kashyap tweeted, ‘Just saw Bala’s Pardesi. Absolutely blown by it. His best yet.’

Kashyap intends to release the film in central and north India with English and Hindi subtitles through his company, Phantom Films Pvt. Ltd.

‘Paradesi,’ based on a true story is set in pre-independence India, dwells on the plight of tea estate workers. Playing key roles in this story are Atharva Murali, Vedhika and Dhansika. Music is by G.V. Prakash.
