Chi event manager Mohammad Anwar, said: "Sean Paul has a nasty break on his leg. He has been issued a doctor's certificate for four months so cannot perform. We will work on rescheduling the concert after the summer."
Paul began scoring hit singles in Jamaica in the mid '90s before steadily attracting international attention into the latter part of the decade, eventual breaking into pop mainstream in 2002 with Dutty Rock.
The Dubai venue will be open as usual on Friday for a regular club night. All outlets are refunding tickets, priced Dh175 and Dh200. For more information call 04 3379470.
