One is the king of Bollywood (I am talking about Shah Rukh Khan, of course) and the other is the prince. No, I am not talking about Vivek Oberoi, but Ranbir Kapoor! Now, one would think that the two would be dying to make a movie together to cash in on their cult-like following, but that's not happening.

Apparently, RK is intimidated by SRK. Karan Johar, the director who is pals with both the stars, was keen on casting the two in one of his projects, but Ranbir turned him down. He is supposed to have told KJo something like "I'm still a newbie. SRK is a huge star. I admire him. He is a phenomenon. But I don't wish to do a two-hero movie with SRK as yet. As it is, I'm not doing two-hero films now. Later, perhaps, not now."

When asked if he said anything of that kind, Ranbir denied it, of course. Karan, on the other hand, has decided that keeping mum is the best policy.

Flexing muscles

Remember Mr and Mrs Smith, the super slick action drama that had Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sizzling on and off-screen? According to sources, that seems to be a reference point for Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor in Khan's Agent Vinod.

The crew will be leaving for Ouarzazate in Morocco very soon to shoot an intense combat sequence between the two. Rumour mills have it that the complex fight scene requires months of preparation. Saif has already begun training for it but Kareena hasn't as she's busy with Anubhav Sinha's Ra.One. Since she needs to work towards a svelte body, the crew believes it could take a while before they are able to shoot this sequence.

Kalki's a busy lady

Kalki Koechlin, the actress of French descent, whose career saw a meteoric rise after Dev D, is extremely busy these days. Apart from bagging a role in Zoya Akhtar's Running With The Bulls, which also stars Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar and Abhay Deol, she will feature in Anurag Kashyap's That Girl in Yellow Boots, which she has apparently co-scripted, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's My Friend Pinto, opposite Prateik Babbar. The star has also been endorsing a lot of brands and is acting in plays too. Oh, by the way, did I mention that Anurag Kashyap, the maverick director responsible for Dev D, is her boyfriend? "Yes we are seeing each other and are very happy. He's passionate and romantic like Frenchmen," she declares.
