It only took them a year and a half to return since their last sold-out concert -- so Metallica are hardly the unforgiven when it comes to putting on shows in the UAE.

- US rock group Metallica will perform in the UAE capital again on April 19.
The US rock act will perform in the capital again on April 19, organisers Flash Entertainment announced on Tuesday, with tickets for the du Arena concert on sale starting at Dh295 for general admission atthinkflash.ae and 800FLASH (35274).
Their last concert in the UAE, also at the arena on Yas Island, took place on a Tuesday night in November 2011 and saw 20,000 fans from across the region attend.
At least 48,000 of their Facebook fans are in the UAE said Flash in a statement.
