Kanye West trying to impress Kim’s mother

While Jenner is impressed with the gift, she has told the couple it will take more than gifts for her to give green signal to their relationship.

In his bid to impress his girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s mother, singer Kanye West gifted the latter a $200,000 Bentley (Dh734,649).

Reportedly, Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, is not pleased with the public romance between them, following Kardashian’s failed marriage with NBA player Kris Humphries.

“Kanye’s trying really hard to get Kim’s family on side,” Daily star newspaper quoted a source as saying.

“Kim’s mum asked her to keep all her relationships out of the public eye following her disastrous 72-day wedding farce with estranged husband Kris Humphries.She was disappointed her daughter went public with new boyfriend Kanye,” the source added.

While Jenner is impressed with the gift, she has told the couple it will take more than gifts for her to give green signal to their relationship.

“Kris is very grateful, she loves bling, but has told Kim that Kanye’s money can’t buy her approval,” the source added.

Jenner isn’t the only person to be given a new car. Kardashian splashed $750,000 (Dh2,754,935) on a Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 as West’s 35th birthday present.
