- Jon Hamm and his girlfriend Jennifer Westfeldt attend a special screening of "To Rome With Love" hosted by The Cinema Society with The Hollywood Reporter & Piaget at the Paris Theatre on Wednesday June 20, 2012 in New York.
“We have talked about it, and we never say never. But it seems to us that weddings are sometimes more for the couple’s family than for the couple themselves,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Hamm as saying.
“Besides, neither of us has the greatest family history to point to in that department. Jen’s parents’ marriage ended when she was very young, my parents’ marriage was over by the time I was two,” added Hamm.
Westfeldt, 42, agrees. “We don’t need a piece of paper to prove anything to ourselves or to anyone else,” she said.
“Our relationship we have is working for us, and we’re in no hurry to change it.”
