J-Lo Warned: ‘Your Toyboy Is Trouble!'
Worried pals tell the besotted diva that Casper Smart - 18 years her junior - thinks he's found his ‘meal ticket', while she thinks she's found love again Misunderstood madam or spoilt Hollywood princess? We pick our fave pics of Suri…
Just four months after she announced her split from husband number three, Marc Anthony, the American Idol judge was spotted cosying up to Casper (real name, Beau Paul Smart) after they met when she was auditioning dancers for her recent tour.
"It's pretty serious," spilleda source last week. "They're together a lot. She's never been happier."
But friends of the 42-year-old star have issued a stark warning, after it emerged that Casper faces jail time in January if he is found guilty of illegal drag racing, speeding and driving without a licence, in busts dating back to 2004.
"He posted $26,000 (Dh95,400) bail and is scheduled to appear in court on January 5," spilled an LA source. "Plus, he has to complete10 days of community service before his court date. If he's found guilty, he could be looking at 90 days in jail."
‘He wants to be rich and famous!'
Already friends with Glee star, Mark Salling, who plays Puck in the TV show, Casper has appeared in three episodes of Glee, performed on stage with Beyonce, Eminem and Nicki Minaj and was slated to dance on Michael Jackson's ill-fated This Is It world tour. But ever since his connection to J-Lo, Casper has found his fame stock soaring and he was recently charged with choreographing a new music video for Cooler Than Me singer, Mike Posner - taking Jennifer along too.
"She was smiling and seemed to enjoy watching her boyfriend work," spilled a dancer.
And mum-of-two J-Lo is said to have fallen head over heels for her toyboy, with the pair spotted sharing a kiss at the after-party for the recent American Music Awards.
"Basically, he wants to be rich and famous," warned an industry mole. "He's a good-looking guy and a smooth talker. What man wouldn't see Jennifer Lopez as his meal ticket?"
Tom Cruise's adopted son, Connor, last week shocked his famous father with a string of outbursts during which he told the star he wantedout of Scientology and doesn't feel as loved in the family as his little sister, Suri.
Sixteen-year-old Connor, who was adopted as a baby along with his sister, Isabella, and who rarely sees adoptive mother, Nicole Kidman, is said to have surprised Tom with his declaration, hitting out at his dad when the actor tried to put his feelings down to typical teenage rebellion and hormones. Said to have endured a "difficult relationship" with his parents, who were both busy with their careers when Connor was growing up, the teenager, who recently launched his career as a DJ, is apparently keen to drop out of Scientology establishment, The Delphian School, and "move out from under Tom's thumb" after insisting his dad will never love him as much as he loves Suri.
"Connor loves Suri, but he also thinks she gets a lot more of Tom's time and attention than he and Isabella ever got," spilled a mole. "Connor has always had a difficult relationship with his parents, and it has definitely affected him. He has broken down crying about it." Adding, "When Connor was a kid, Tom was always off doing his thing, working on movies back-to-back and travelling all the time. Connor felt that when he came home, he didn't have time to spend with him."
With pals saying he's been influenced by sister, Isabella, 18, who had told her family she wanted to move out, but was placated with a job working at Katie's Holmes & Yang fashion label, Connor - who DJs under the name, DJ C-Squared - landed his first major gig ata post-AMA benefit party, last week.
"He wants to be independent," said a friend. "Like any teenager, he's come to a real crossroads. But unlike other teens, he has one of the biggest movie stars in the world as his father - and Tom's unlikely to relinquish control over his son for the sake of what he seesas a teenage tantrum."
Is Marc still In The Picture?
Despite havinga new man in her life, insiders are whispering that the old one hasn't quite been consigned to the history bin, amid rumours J-Lo hooked up with estranged hubby, Marc Anthony, during a business trip to Puerto Rico recently.
In the country to launch their new TV talent show Q'Viva!, the pair walked through the airport together - although left for the same hotel in separate cars - with onlookers saying they appeared on friendly terms.
And after one hotel mole insisted, "Marc never stayed in his hotel room," rumours abounded that the pair had reconnected on the trip. "It's inevitable," spilled a pal of the alleged dalliance. "Marc has this hold over her."
