Check out Money Ratnam, debutant Santosh Nair’s film, featuring the versatile Fahadh Faasil.
“This is a road story that happens over one day,” said Nair, who assisted Rosshan Andrews, Venu Nagavalli and Diphan before going solo. “For the first time, Fahadh has tried his hand at comedy.”
He plays Johnson, a sales executive. Johnson is on his way home when he finds himself with a bag of cash. “What happens in Neil’s life subsequently forms the rest of the story,” added Nair.
Money Ratnam is scripted by newcomers Anil Narayanan and Ajith C. Lokesh. Playing Neil’s lover is Niveda Thomas.
“She is Pia, a social worker who tries to arrange funds for surgeries involving children with heart ailments. Renji Panickker also plays a pivotal role,” the director added.
