New Delhi: Bollywood stars including Deepika Padukone and Aamir Khan showed they’re good sports at the inaugural International Premier Tennis League (IPTL) by hitting a few balls against tennis superstars Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Sania Mirza.
After Manila Mavericks defeated Singapore Slammers 23-17 in the first tie of the concluding day of the India leg of the inaugural tournament, a host of movie stars led by Khan and Padukone made their way onto the court to a rapturous ovation from a thrilled crowd.

The volleys against Federer, Djokovic and Mirza were a warm-up session for the players ahead of the Indian Aces vs UAE Royals match.
Khan’s wife, director Kiran Rao, and son Azad could be spotted courtside cheering him on.
Padukone had her father, badminton great Prakash Padukione, in the stands as she partnered with Deshmukh.
Amitabh Bachchan watched the IPTL action Sunday when Federer made his debut for the Indian Aces in the tournament, which moves to the UAE from December 11-13 at Hamdan Sports Complex.
