World Refugee Day is held every year on June 20, a day honouring the courage, strength and determination of those who have been forced to flee their homelands due to war, persecution and terror.
Jolie has been a US Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nation's High Commission on Refugees since 2001 and believes just one person - man, woman or child - being forced to flee is one person to many, as the video shows.
"You go to these places and you realise what life's really about and what people are really going through. These people are my heroes," she has said of her work with refugees.
