Cairo: More than 900 queries have bombarded Al Qaida after the terror network opened itself to questions from the public through the internet.

Among the public’s concerns: Where will it strike next? Does it control small militant groups in the Middle East and Europe? Why hasn't it hit America again? Is Osama Bin Laden well?

Al Qaida deputy leader Ayman Al Zawahiri was supposedly taking questions posted on an Islamist website before a January 16 deadline.

Al Qaida has not answered so far, but said posted a message that Al Zawahiri would respond "as soon as possible". The questions disappeared online after the cut off date, CNN reported.

It could not be immediately verified whether any of questioners are real or if the interview offer really came from Al Zawahiri.
