Dubai: Arabtec shares jumped nearly 10 per cent on Wednesday after reports that the company would announce a profit for the first quarter of 2017.

Arabtec shares were up 8.93 per cent to be at Dh0.915, after hitting a high of Dh0.966.

The wider Dubai index was up 0.29 per cent at 3,505.91.
