Dubai: The Arab Strategy Forum (ASF) has unveiled the second term of its executive education programme, “Geopolitical and Economic Analysis Forecasting Programme for Decision Makers.”

It aims to provide the best methods and tools for leaders, decision makers and researchers to enhance their decision-making skills, and help them forecast the most important political and economic events locally and globally. This will reflect directly on the work of their business operations and governments.

In association with the Eurasia Group, the programme will be held on December 10 and 11, 2017. This will also allow participants to attend the ASF on December 12. The event is poised as the premier platform in the region for forecasting global trends, insights and impactful strategies in 2018.

Suha Al Aleeli, Director of the ASF, said: “We live in a rapidly changing region with many political and economic events playing out on a daily basis. This has a direct impact on the destinies of the people in this region and also influences the policy planning of many countries around the world. Therefore, the importance of the programme is centred around developing the core foundations and rules to forecast these events, finding processes to cope with the rapid and ongoing changes in the region and determining the best plans to address those changes in order to benefit the people and countries in the region.”

Al Aleeli stressed that participants will have the opportunity to acquire skills in political and economic forecasting. They will study and determine political trends and forecast the risks surrounding them through reference frameworks, which will help them to form future visionary plans for governments, private-sector institutions and financial markets.
