PARIS: Dr Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), attended part of a session of the French National Assembly in Paris. The session was held under the chairmanship of Claude Bartolone, president of the French National Assembly.
Bartolone welcomed Dr Al Qubaisi, saying that her attendance at the session demonstrates cooperation and the strength of the existing partnership between the two nations and the relations between the FNC and the French National Assembly.
Dr Al Qubaisi extended her thanks and appreciation to Bartolone for the invitation. She also confirmed the importance of the visit which, she said, will enhance existing relations between the two countries.
The FNC Speaker also stressed the importance of promoting ties between parliamentary institutions to keep pace with the two nations’ stances. Such visits provide an opportunity to discuss the best ways to reach advanced levels of strategic partnerships in all fields.
