Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) announced its intentions to expand its services portfolio to the oil and gas industry on Tuesday, marking the company’s first foray outside of the marine sector.
ADSB said it was opening up to opportunities beyond its traditional industries.
Khaled Al Mazrouei, CEO of ADSB, said in a statement that ADSB would leverage its “relationships with core government clients … to move into a new industry.”
“Oil and gas has the potential to grow our business beyond ship building,” he added.
