Gulf News is giving its retail buyers an opportunity to win AED 5000 each day.
Every poly-bagged copy of the Gulf News, available at all retail outlets, will have a voucher insert. Each voucher has a unique printed alphanumeric code. Readers should tune into Radio 1 or Radio 2 and listen to the announcement of the drawn numeric codes. If the numeric portion of the code printed on the voucher matches the number announced, the winner should SMS his complete alphanumeric code to either 6362 or 6364. In the event that no valid claims are made for a particular draw the prize money is added to the next draw. The winners will be announced at 3pm and 9pm daily.
The draw timings are
- 1st draw: 8am. SMS cut-off time 2pm same day
- 2nd draw: 6pm. SMS cut-off time 8pm same day

- Each SMS charged at AED 3
- The draw will be done by Dubai Municipality personnel
- Promotion period - 16th May - 15th June
- Draw & SMS Cut-off Timing:
1st draw: 8am. SMS cut-off time 2pm same day
2nd draw: 6pm. SMS cut-off time 8pm same day
- The winners will be announced at 3pm and 9pm daily
- Each draw will be for AED 2,500
- Any prize not claimed will be rolled over to the next draw
- Retain voucher for proof
- Prize money will be credited into the winner’s bank account with Emirates Bank or National Bank of Dubai
- If the winner does not have an account with Emirates Bank or NBD, a new Current Account will be opened in the winner’s name with Emirates Bank or National Bank of Dubai. The account will not have any minimum balance requirements for three months
- In case of multiple correct entries, the Winners will need to produce their winning vouchers within 48 hours in order to claim their prize money.
