Radcliffe denies smoking spliff
Daniel Radcliffe has "categorically" denied he had smoked a cannabis joint at a party after pictures emerged of him allegedly using the drug.
The 20-year-old Harry Potter star reportedly lit up at a gathering in a friend's flat in Camden, north London, a fellow party-goer said.
He was literally laughing and declaring that he loved weed as he let a girl draw a comedy beard on his face, the party-goer alleged.
But the film star said he had not smoked anything other than tobacco.
A spokeswoman for Radcliffe said: "Daniel does smoke the occasional roll-up cigarette, but he was not doing anything more than this.
"We are considering our position and will be taking all necessary action in relation to such allegations."
The actor is currently filming the first part of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows. PA
Sylvester Stallone has scrapped plans for a sci-fi setting for Rambo V. The fifth instalment about the action hero will now be set in Mexico, seeing him rescue a young girl from drug traffickers.
Stallone said: "Rambo will be heading over the border to a violent city where many young women have vanished," adding, "there will be blood."
NEW CHARACTER
Rambo V had previously been heading in a sci-fi direction and was apparently to be based on James Byron Higgins' novel Hunter, which Stallone owns the rights to. It would have seen John Rambo in the Pacific Northwest, taking a squad into a secret military base to shut down a man-beast super-soldier project gone awry.
Stallone had described the movie, called The Savage Hunt, as "an amalgamation of fury and intelligence and pure unadulterated rage from before man became human". But the Rambo star now reveals "that story will be done using another character in the lead".
Twilight romance
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's rumoured romance was on the cards from the start, according to the first Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke. The filmmaker even advised the British actor against getting involved with his co-star after casting the two in the vampire blockbuster. "After I cast him, I told Rob, ‘Don't even think about having a romance with her, she's under 18 — you will be arrested," she said. Hardwicke said the relationship between Stewart, 19, and Pattinson, 23, who are starring in the Twilight sequel New Moon, developed over time. "In terms of what Kristen told me, it didn't happen on the first movie. Nothing crossed the line while on the first film. It took a long time for Kristen to realise, ‘OK, I've got to give this a go and really try to be with this person." Pattinson and Stewart have refused to confirm their romance.
