Can you imagine doing very unusual things with only flour and white glue? Follow these steps to find out.

STEP 1

You will need one measurement of white glue. (You can find it in shops that store building material) and two measurement of flour.

Mix the glue and flour in a plastic bowl like you mix pastry. Mix for five minutes and cover with a plastic bag.

STEP 2

After around an hour, take a hand-sized piece of the paste and pass it through a pasta machine (it is available in supermarkets) — from the No 1 slot.

Fold the piece and pass it through the slot again. Repeat 10 to 12 times.

Doing this with the pasta machine is better than doing it by hand.

STEP 3

Take another small piece and pass it through the pasta machine.

Spray copper, gold or blue paint on one side only. Remember to be careful and not apply too much of the paint.

Then wait for about ten minutes for the paint to dry completely.

STEP 4

Ensure that the paint is dry. Put the coloured piece through the No 5 slot.

When you turn the machine, the pastry will come out thinner, with wonderful designs such as snake skin or fish skin.

STEP 5

Cut out a rectangular piece and place it on a table (marble or glass or plastic). Put a wooden stick on the pastry and roll it up.

STEP 6

With a big, sharp knife, cut this roll into pieces of similar size. Make sure the size is the same, else the result will be imperfect.

About every two hours, turn the beads on the stick, four to five times.

STEP 7

You can also use other raw materials such as the top side of buttons.

Cover the buttons with excess ceramic and place a wire between two buttons and stick them together. You can also put some letters that you like.

After this, apply varnish to these beads and buttons, and let dry.

STEP 8

Shown here are some samples of long and round beads. I mix them with different kinds of beads also.

Also, you can decorate your pots with the same ceramic in different colours.

Here, my pot (shown above) is a treasure for me because it is handmade and hence, priceless.
