Ankle boots
If you’re already looking ahead to autumn, then ankle boots are likely already on your shopping list. We love these two styles — something for everyone, whether you’re a little bit rock ’n’ roll (the buckled Diesel Sidney, Dh1,575) or totally glam (the Kurt Geiger Thelma, Dh969).
4 shop!
Bebe’s dress
The season resumes tomorrow at Park Hyatt’s Thai Kitchen brunch, which is great value at Dh245, leaving you change for at hot dress to wear there — we love this Bella Scarpa one from Bebe, Dh595.
5 in the bag!
Loewe’s Oro collection
Pack in all your essentials with the new bag collection from the Spanish house, now in their boutiques in the UAE. The pink handle with pocket on the front is Dh6,490; while the square Amazona bags with pink or green handles are Dh8,880. The long strap bags are priced Dh5,305 (blue) and Dh5,035 (green).

Harvey Nichols fashion styling workshops
In a wardrobe rut? Dazzled and confused by the latest trends? Australian fashion expert Melissa Hoyer is coming to help you. She will make this Autumn Winter your most stylish yet with a series of styling workshops at Harvey Nichols Dubai, at Mall of the Emirates. The workshops will showcase top trends for the season from ready-to-wear to accessories — and how to wear them, whatever the occasion. Even better — the workshops are free, meaning more to spend on your key pieces. Hoyer was the stylist on The X Factor Australia, and has been a guest judge on Australia’s Next Top Model and Project Runway. Classes take place September 19 and 20 on level two of the store. RSVP by calling 04-4098888.
The schedule is: 5.30-6.15pm: Statement lace and fur; 6.30-7.15pm: jewel tones and digital prints (such as this Mary Katrantzou look); and 7.30-8.15pm: Monochrome and leather.
