Etihad, Linkedin launch online mapping tool

Etihad Airways has launched an online mapping tool developed in association with LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, to make it easier to message new contacts, arrange meetings and be more productive while travelling. The “Etihad Mapped-Out” tool is available at www.etihadmappedout.com and offers professionals on LinkedIn the ability to search their connections by geographical location and see them displayed on a map, making it easier for business travellers to connect with their global network of contacts as they travel. Members can search through geographical area (which can be countrywide or even a specific city), industries of interest and first- and/or second-degree connections. The tool also allows users to superimpose an Etihad Airways route map, displaying all passenger destinations served by the airline.

 

Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi renovation and plans

Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi is renovating its 227 rooms, suites and public spaces. Slated for completion by the end of the year, the hotel will also transform its existing food and beverage venues as well as introduce signature brand experiences. The hotel will introduce the Le Méridien Hub™, which will transform the traditional hotel lobby to offer creative people a place to gather and converse, debate and exchange ideas. The Hub will include a new Latitude Bar. Boutique 7 Hotel & Suites plans soft launch

Boutique 7 Hotel & Suites, a new hotel inspired by the seven emirates of the UAE is expected to soft launch in Tecom by the first week of June. The hotel with 79 rooms will also include 1Up (a sports & entertainment lounge), Garden of Eden (an outdoor coffee shop and shisha lounge), an all-day-dining restaurant, 2GO (a coffee shop and sandwich bar), a discotheque (with a capacity of 450 people) and a spa.
