What music do you love?
It depends on my mood. To get my creative juices flowing, I love fast-paced dance music à la Tiësto and Fatboy Slim, or current pop favourites like Katy Perry.
Music you grew up to?
My folks love classical music and my mum used to listen to a lot of Mozart when she was pregnant with me. Perhaps that sparked my love for music!
And the first album you bought?
It was a Blue CD. Remember them? I was obsessed with Duncan James!
Which one of your songs would you recommend to fans?
The title track of my latest album Sand Star - my tribute to Dubai, a city that brings together tradition and modernity.
Is music just a form of entertainment?
I think music is integral in connecting people from all over the world. It can be understood by everyone - music is a universal language!
