Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Priti Patel, British Secretary of State for International Development, at the ministry here on Thursday.
During the meeting, Shaikh Abdullah and Patel discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them with special focus on the economic and development ties to serve the interests of both nations.
They also exchanged views on many regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Shaikh Abdullah said the UAE’s external relations and openness to other countries in the world contribute to supporting the international efforts to promote development progress in all developing countries and communities.
The meeting was attended by senior officials.
