Bollywood’s ‘Mr. Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan accepts he has undergone a lot of transformation over the past few years, thanks to his filmmaker wife Kiran Rao.
“Transformation has happened. I feel it is because of Kiran-ji. Her influence on me is very bright,” the 49-year-old said in an interview.
“Her energy is bright. So, a change has come in me as well,” he added.
Khan married Kiran in 2005 and together they raise a son named Azad Rao Khan, whom they had via surrogacy. The two met during the filming of Ashutosh Gowariker’s Lagaan.
Currently, Khan is busy promoting his film PK, which will hit cinemas in the UAE next weekend. The poster of the film shows the actor nude but for a strategically placed radio, and he confessed that he would not have dared to go nude three years ago if was asked to do so. He says he decided to bare all for PK because of the “strong script”.
“Obviously, we all would not like being without clothes. But when I heard this script, it looked so natural to me that I didn’t even feel it would look awkward or uncomfortable [to go nude on-screen],” he added.
