Dubai: Three new entry/exit points connecting Dubai’s Jumeirah Village Circle (JVT) with Hessa Street will open on October 12, following the completion of a Dh18.5 million road improvement scheme by developer Nakheel.

The completion of the scheme will allow easier access, shorter journey times and improved traffic flow at JVC, one of Dubai’s largest and fastest-growing communities.

“We thank the RTA for its commitment and co-operation in enabling us to complete this work efficiently, effectively and on time. JVC residents and visitors will be delighted with this major enhancement to the community,” said a Nakheel spokesperson.

The community’s population is 25,000 people, with a predicted population of 300,000 after the 560-hectare master community is fully completed.

Currently under construction, the Circle Mall, Nakheel’s new shopping hub for JVC, will include 235 shops, restaurants and cafes as well as multi-screen cinema.

Nakheel has delivered more than 700 villas in JVC, with 305 buildings, villas and townhouses by third party developers completed or under construction. A further 183 residential, commercial and hospitality buildings by sub-developers are currently in the design stage.
