Sharjah: A toddler died on the spot after being run over by a school bus in Al Dhaid, Sharjah on Sunday afternoon.
The 18-month-old Emirati boy, identified as Saeed Salem Bin Rabiaa Al Thunaji, was with the housemaid waiting for his brother Mohammad to return from school at about 3pm, a relative of ther toddler told Gulf News.
The driver of the bus did not notice the toddler when he run him over.
After the incident was reported to police operation room, police and paramedics rushed the boy to Al Dhaid hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The toddler was attending at Al Bustan Nursery, according to the relative.
Al Dhaid Police launched investigation into the incident.
